Paint Recycling

Do you have a room in your house that looks like this? It seems that I can never get rid of old paint. Granted, I do have a reason for keeping the old cans of paint…at least for a while. At first I save it and use it for touch ups here and there, like when somebody moves a piece of furniture and bangs up the wall. But that doesn’t mean I should keep it forever. I think I still have blue paint from my dining room, but it’s from two color changes ago. It hasn’t been blue for many years. Multiply this by the number of rooms in my house, and the cans start to add up quickly.

Ask About Our Recycling Program.

After a while for most people, another reason that they keep so many old paint cans around is that they don’t know what to do with them. We all try to be environmentally conscious, and you’re not supposed to discard them by throwing them in the garbage with the rest of your trash. And frankly, it’s a pain in the neck to follow the recommended procedures for drying out the paint so that it is safe to throw away.

We offer to take care of the old cans for our clients and recycle them properly. Give us a call and we can take your old paint too. In most cases we’ll do it free of charge, but sometimes if you have something that is particularly unfriendly to the environment and costly for us to recycle we may have to charge a small fee. But just imagine what you can do with that extra storage space.
